The CVI valves of the Hanewell model VR420VA1020-0010 with servo control are gas valves designed to control and regulate the supply of gaseous fuel to various gas burners, atmospheric gas boilers, melting furnaces, waste incinerators and other gas-consuming devices.

These valves, known as the Resideo VR420VA 1020-0010 model, are designed for use both in systems with spark ignition of burners (DBI) and in systems with a pilot burner (IP). In their standard configuration, Honeywell VR420 VA 1020-0010 gas solenoid valves are equipped with two main valves V1 and V2:

1. Safety valve V1: This valve provides quick opening and closing.

2. Second valve (V2): This valve has the ability to open either quickly with the possibility of flow control, or slowly with flow control and the possibility of adjustable opening.

There is a pressure control valve between valves V1 and V2. The body of these valves is equipped with 4 flange connections on both sides for the installation of additional devices:

- Inlet pressure switch of the C60VR series.

- Intermediate pressure relay of the C60VR series.

- Valve inspection System (VPS) + pressure switch.

These additional components can be installed at various points of the VR420VA1020-0010 gas control unit body for optimal system configuration and operation in accordance with the requirements of a specific application. Design and principle of operation

The VR420VA 1020-0010 gas control block are controlled by two-position actuators. They control the opening and closing directly. Each device contains a coil and a sleeve with a plunger connected to a rubber valve. The valves maintain the open position by means of spring pressure.

The central element of the system is a pressure servo controller, including a pressure relief valve integrated into the regulator diaphragm. When power is supplied to both actuators, the gas is directed through the diaphragm to the regulator. This opens a control valve regulated by the diaphragm via feedback.

If the pressure generated by the diaphragm exceeds the set value, the control valve partially reduces the operating pressure to maintain the output pressure at a constant level. When switched off, a small volume of gas is discharged into the main chamber. The adjusting screw is used to change the pressure if necessary, otherwise the full pressure of the "servo gas" determines the position of the control valve.

The Honeywell VR420 VA 1020-0010 gas solenoid valves are designed in accordance with the European standard EN 126. The safety shut-off valve meets the requirements of Class "A". In terms of bending stresses, the combined valve meets the highest requirements.

With regard to electrical safety, the VR420VA1020-0010 gas solenoid valves can be used in devices conforming to the series of European standards EN 60335, which establish requirements for household and industrial electrical devices.

The VR420VA 1020-0010 CVI valves also comply with all electromagnetic compatibility standards for non-industrial and industrial installations.
